Eleanor Lilley Slesh 92, of Eighty Four, PA (North Beth Twp.) passed away Thursday, April 5, 2018 in South Hills Rehabilitation and Wellness Center Canonsburg.

         She was born August 31, 1925 in Cokeburg, PA a daughter of the late John and Anna Beveridge Lilley.

         Mrs. Slesh was a graduate of Bentleyville-Ellsworth High School.

         She was employed as a cook at Century Inn and Bentleyville Truck Stop for many years.

         Eleanor was a lifelong member of Cokeburg Presbyterian Church and the Ladies Aide Society of the Church, a member of the Bentworth Senior Citizens and St. George CFU# 354 Cokeburg.

         Mrs. Slesh enjoyed coloring, crossword puzzles, word search and embroidering. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren, and loved her cat “Fat Boy”.

         On December 19, 1969 she married Frank Joseph Slesh who died January 18, 2000.

         Surviving are two daughters, Patricia Crothers of Eighty Four, PA and Debra Brown (Joseph) of Scenery Hill, PA; two step sons, Richard Slesh (Lynne) of Portland, OR and Dennis Slesh (Shirley) of Washington, PA; a step daughter, Sandra Gorby (Kenneth) of Washington, PA; two sisters, Ardith Haranin of California, PA and Annetta Dinardo of Ellsworth, PA; ten grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; several nieces and nephews.

         Deceased in addition to her parents and husband is a step daughter Sharon Bryner; a son David Richards; two brothers, Clinton and William Lilley and a sister Naomi Getch.

         Friends will be received Monday from 2 to 8 PM in the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home 2830 Main St. Beallsville, PA where funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at 11 AM with Rev. Frances Skariot officiating. Interment will follow in Beallsville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Bentworth Senior Citizens 208 Abromaitis St. Bentleyville, PA 15314.
